Zacchaeus Meets Jesus
This is the story from Luke 19:1-10 of how Zacchaeus climbed up in a tree to see Jesus. When Jesus passed by him, He called him by name and told him to come down so they could go to his house. When reading this book, discuss how, when we seek God, we can find Him. He knows us by name. He knows everything we have ever done and will ever do, and He loves us anyway. He wants to know us and spend time with us!
This is the "reader" version of Zacchaeus Meets Jesus. It is just right for small hands, and for making copies.

Story Felt Board is a collection of art you can use to make characters for a felt board. Simply cut them out, laminate them if desired, and glue some felt on the back. Use it to act out the story, or allow children to retell the story on their own.

On the Zacchaeus Meets Jesus activity page, children fill in blanks in the Bible story summary and then find those words in a word search. On the other side, children connect the ABCs in the order of the alphabet to reveal a picture. They can also color the picture.
